Getting used to him

One of the problems that any pet parent fears with bringing a second dog in a single dog house is for the original dog to get along with the new one.  That was an issue was had last year when we rescued another beagle that was an older dog.  No worries, that other beagle found a good home and is doing great!  But our Buddy can be a grumpy old man.  With Dochas we were worried that Buddy wouldn't warm up to him.  Well it took a week, but Buddy has warmed up to the little guy.  Plays really hard with him and is in the process of laying down the law that he's the alpha.  They are actually really cute together and are going to be really good friends.

Hey, it's cold outside.

Buddy just wants you to know

He's not a jerk like his little brother. He's a proper beagle that gets 18-20 hours of sleep a day. Preferably in the sunshine.
